WREATHS 2025! Seasonal Employment Opportunity
Thank you for interest in joining TEAM2025 for our upcoming Wreath Season! 2025 will be our 24th season creating Fresh & Natural Evergreen Products for sale throughout the Cariboo, British Columbia, Canada and into the US of A! Work spans a timeframe of ~ 6 weeks with the majority of the time spent in our heated workshop at Moose Meadows Farm with good music, good company, good conversation and Tea and Coffee.
We are looking for folks who can join the TEAM by helping us out on a full time basis (40 hours / week) although we can offer part time too. While flexible hours are a must, we are offering work on weekdays, weekends and evenings. As the season is short and we are a small, family farm based business, commitment is something we value greatly.
Some work will be outdoors and could be in all types of weather (we try to avoid going out when it is wet and /or cold. The work is fun and social but production oriented. In 2023 and 2024, we created 850 wreaths so there is much to get done! Tasks include tipping (bough collecting), making decorations / bows, wreath / garland / winter baskets / swags, decorating, shipping and assisting with workshops and markets. With 23 successful years under our belt, it is like a well greased wheel. We typically support some fundraisers every year too.
All equipment and training is provided. Employees must be physically able and willing to work outdoors in all types of weather.
Note: The worksite for the indoor work is Moose Meadows Farm. The worksite for the outdoor work is the field site where tipping (bough collecting) will be done. While Moose Meadows Farm offers travel from the farm to the field site, travel time is unpaid. If Staff are travelling back to the farm to assist with unloading, 1 way of travel will be paid. Staff also have the option to travel in their own vehicles.
Preference for full-time work and /or hours will be given to those staff who assist us for the field work.
