Every year we create a Cedar Wreath composed 100% of western red cedar (Thuja plicata).  This wreath is aptly named "Ancient Cedar" as it acknowledges that cedar is one of the trees of British Columbia's Ancient Forests.  Also known as the "Tree of Life", the western red cedar holds a special place in BC's natural landscape and Indigenous cultures.  It can grow upto 70 metres tall and live for more than 1000 years.  While the tree is common along BC's coast, it also grows about 15 km. east of Quesnel, in old growth inland rainforests along the Quesnel River.  This wreath is available in limited quantities.  It is simply decorated with a bow and an assortment of cones.
