Back again for 2025 is Historical Encampment with the Friends of Bouchie - Milburn Society! For information on this, please contact the bouchielakefriends@gmail.com or send a PM on Facebook.
Note: If you would like to set up on the Art Trail and demonstrate an art / craft and /or provide an activity for the general public, please let us know. As these types of activities compliment the event, the Registration Fee will be waived.
Details
i) This is an outdoor event and will proceed regardless of weather. Please be prepared for all types of weather - sun, snow. sleet, slush, rain, wind, and everything in between. (October is typically beautiful in the North Cariboo so we shall plan for that!)
ii) Set up is from 09:00 to 10:30 am. All vendors should be set up by 10:30 am so vendors have a chance to tour the market and meet other vendors. The front gates will close at 10:30 am to ensure safety of the market site. Note: Set Up details may change due to the Historical Encampment happening concurrently.
- All vendors are to provide their own table(s), chairs, tents, and garbage receptacle.
- Power is not available on-site. As such, please plan to be self-sufficient. Bring your own (small) generator if needed.
- Parking will be in the "orchard" (pasture access to the west of main farm gate) or in the front field. For set up, vendors can drive in through the main gate but are expected to park their vehicles in the orchard / front field. The only exception is if your vehicle is needed as part of your booth (e.g. your truck is used for displaying your wares).
- All vendors are asked to help promote the event / market through email, social media (facebook / Instagram), word of mouth, posters, etc. Be sure to invite your friends and family. We will be promoting on social media (facebook and Instagram) leading up to the event. Please post on the 2025 Bouchie Lake Harvest Festival event on facebook.
- All applicable food vendors should display their "Food Safe - Level 1" certificate and apply for a "Temporary Food Permit" through Northern Health . Food Vendors will be limited so we do not have multiple vendors selling the same food. If you are a Food Vendor, please check with us prior to registering.
- Vendor Fees: Early Bird Registration Fee (until September 20th): $12.00 + GST = $12.60. After September 20th, Registration Fee is $16.00 + GST = $16.80. Registration Fee must be received at the time of Vendor Application Form submittal.
- Payment can be made via the following methods:
Email Transfer to mmfarm@goldcity.net (this is our preferred and we have auto-deposit)
or Credit Card Online - Registration Fees are non-refundable unless the event does not proceed.
- First Come, First Serve for Vendors selling the same products.
- Registration is complete with payment.
