October 22, 2007

Greetings from Moose Meadows Farm.

Just a little update to let you know that wreath season is rapidly come up in front of us. 2007 will be our 6th year producing fresh, natural Christmas wreaths and we anticipate another successful year. All our wreaths are natural with the boughs being collected after the first frost so that they maintain their freshness and longevity. We also collect the boughs in a sustainable manner. Our evergreen products make fantastic gifts and we are able to ship them across Canada and into the USA. Our wreaths have travelled to as far away places as North Carolina and last year a Canadiana wreath adorned the official residence of the Consulate General of Canada in San Francsico, USA. To order, download an order form from www.moosemeadowsfarm.ca and fax to 250.249.5359 or just give us a dingle (250.249.5329)

This year we have our evergreen products being marketed, for fundraising, in Fort Smith, Northwest Territories and Ft. McMurrary, Alberta in addition to several locales here in British Columbia and in Quesnel. This is very exciting. Through the fundraising, it has really assisted with our getting our products known. Last year, in total, we created and shipped over 1100 evergreen products!!!

This year we are excited to announce the opening of the onsite "The AntlerShed Gift Shop". We are just adding the final touches and will be celebrating its Grand Opening on Saturday, November 17, 2007 during our Open House Farm Market (see below). The Antler Shed Gift Shop showcases local products and a few non-local items which compliments which Moose Meadows Farm is all about. Included in the Shed are: Birch Syrup products (pure, caramel and maple blends), alpaca & llama fibre products, Maple products (confectionary, maple butter, lollipops), handmade soaps, Frog Friendly Coffee, Prince George Ravenson Metalcraft ornaments and items for home decor (www.ravensonmetalcrafts.com), honey products, tinwork stars and tinsel, etc. We shall continue to add more products to the Shed which compliment the atmosphere. The shed is open whenever we are home or by appointment. Just give us a hollar and come on out.

The dates for our upcoming Open House Farm Markets are Saturday, November 17, 2007 and Saturday, December 8, 2007 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. On these days, the farm is open for visiting. Activities included are
