They are created with the boughs of two evergreen species ( Douglas fir / Pseudotsuga menziesii & /or sublapine fir / Abies lasiocarpa), western red cedar / Thuja plicata, and lodgepole pine / Pinus contorta) and tastefully decorated with cones, ribbons, symbols, and bows.
