"The Groom's Quarter B&B" is NOW open at Moose Meadows Farm. Options include Bed, Bale & Breakfast and an outdoor woodfired sauna. An overnight stay is all about the EXPERIENCE!
Located in the upstairs of our barn, the Groom's Quarter is a beautiful fully furnished room equipped with a fridge, hot plate, kettle, coffee maker, water cooler, television for watching DVD's, table with 8 chairs, and double bed, a single bed & a cot. Although extremely comfortable, there is no running water and the facilities are an outhouse ("The Moose Dropped Inn"). Shower facilities are available in the house or for families, staying a few days we suggest a visit to the pool in Quesnel. "The Back 40", an outdoor woodfired sauna is also available to all all overnight guests.
Travelling with horses? We have paddocks, shelter, and a 20 metre x 40 metre sand based riding arena available with our Bed, Bale & Breakfast package. We may be able to accommodate dogs also in our Dog Kennels. No pets are allowed in The Groom's Quarter and the entire farm is non-smoking
Moose Meadows Farm is located just 15 km. west of downtown Quesnel on a well-travelled fully paved road. We are easy to access and find. Click here for easy to following directions. The location is rural and quiet other than the typical barnyard noises of chickens, guinea fowl, donkeys, and a variety of other farm residents which call Moose Meadows Farm home. The farm offers a unique and perfect stop-over location for families wishing something different.
